How to Remove Waterproof Mascara

Waterproof mascara is a great choice for creating long, beautiful eyelashes. But getting waterproof mascara off your lashes can be a bit tricky! Here are some easy steps you can take to make removing waterproof mascara easy. And you won't pull out any eye lashes in the process!

  1. USE MASCARA REMOVER -- Using mascara remover is the most obvious choice but maybe you didn't know such a product exists! It does. Just look around in the makeup section of your store for a small bottle of mascara remover and just use as directed.

  2. USE BABY OIL -- Dap a bit of baby oil on a tissue or cotton ball. Then close your eyes and apply the baby oil to your lashes in a downward motion. The mascara will get all over your face but don't worry about it. After you have removed all the mascara wash your face with your favorite soap or cleanser and all the mascara that you just smudged all over your face will come right off. Your face and your eyelashes will be clean and mascara free!

  3. USE VASELINE -- Put a bit of vaseline on your eyelashes using your finger. Just close your eyes and apply the vaseline using a downward motion on your lashes. The vaseline does not work as well as baby oil but it will soften clumps. Then just wash your face as you normally would.
